1. The vocational trainings have been arranged in the trades motor cycle repairs, stitching, computer application and mobile repairs by getting the sponsorship from Labour Office Jabalpur. 3 schools viz. Thakkar gram, Karia pathar and Kusmer have been selected as the venue and 6 to 8th class children were chosen for the training. The training was given 4 days in a week to children. 101 students (boys and girls) had given training at Thakkergram, 84 in Karia pathar and 107 in Kusmer. The training period was 13th January 2013 to 5th March 2013 but this was further taken ahead up to September 2013.
2. Department of Health, GoMP Bhopal ordered through CMO Rajgarh to provide them 4 Lab technicians who shall render their services at government hospital Rajgarh. NRMCW provided 4 LTs and they successfully served to the public.
3. NRMCW gave training in hand embroidery to 30 women for a period of 3 months. After the successful training, 40% women were helped to be engaged at local market. This training was done by the support of DUDA Hoshangabad.
4. Under skill development training program, 4 centers viz. Bhopal, Mandideep, Bina and Narsinghgarh were selected as venues. A total of 30 participants i.e. 20 from OBC and 10 from minority section were selected for the training of office automation and personality development. The training was to be given during the period of October 2012 to January 2013. The duration of the training is from 2 months to 6 months. An assessing body ASSOCHEM visited from New Delhi to take the examination. From the successful batches 40% candidates were helped to get the job.
5. Department of Gas Rahat sponsored embroidery training for the gas victims of Bhopal gas tragedy. 20 women have been selected and they were given the training during the period 5th November 2011 to 4th May 2012. The training was arranged at J.P.Nagar Bhopal. After the successful completion, 70% women were helped to get the job work in the local market.
6. With the help of Department of Women & Child, NRMCW organized various training programs in computer fundamental, M.S. Office and Internet, beauty parlor, Spoken English, Media, Tally etc. The trainings were organized at Barkhedi (300), Berasia (60), Motia park (400) and Kolar road (100). These training come under SABLA scheme.
7. With the support from NABARD, NRMCW encouraged for the formation of SHGs at Narsinghgarh and Kalapipal in district Rajgarh. At both the places 25 each SHGs have been formed with a member of 10-12 in each batch. They were given the training for operation of SHGs. They were also advised about regular meetings, record keeping, accounts and regular savings. The SHGs were helped to open the bank account. Once they get matured further help shall be rendered appropriately. NABARD officials visited time to time and inspected the activities of the SHGs.
8. Under the aegis of Madhya Pradesh Council for Vocational Education and Training, Bhopal NRMCW has organized trainings in various field for more than 3000 participants. We have 4 centres in Jabalpur, 2 centers in Bhopal and 1 center at Narsinghgarh. We as a vocational training provider, has provided training in beauty parlor, garment making, stitching, embroidery, computer fundamental & M.S. Office & Internent, Tally, Spoken English, Media, mobile repairs, AutoCAD and a few other trades.
9. By getting the support from District Poverty Initiatives Project, Damoh, a residential training in Jabalpur have been organized for 32 students in mobile repairs training. The participants were given theoretical and practical training for a period of 3 months. After the successful completion of the training, 40% participants were helped to get the job.
10. NRMCW was supported by Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Bhopal to spread the message among general public regarding the scheme of government. NRMCW was given two areas viz. Adarsh Nagar and Gautam Nagar. These are two prime slums of Bhopal. NRMCW also rendered computer application training to 20 participants in the area.
11. During the year, NRMCW organized aware campaigns in villages, Barkheda, Motipura and Gandhi gram to spread the awareness among the people regarding watershed development program.
12. National Institute of Rural Development Hyderabad supported NRMCW to organize diesel pump set repairing and motor cycle repairing training for 30 participants each at Bijadandi block of district Mandla. The training was organized frofm 24th April 2013 to 13th June 2013. The theory and practical parts were covered by the expert trainers. After successful completion of the training, the participants were supported either to get a job or started their on ventures.
13. The design and technical development workshop and training in stone carving craft for the artisans of SHGs have been organized at Narsinghgarh. The artisans were helped by the designer to make prototypes of different shapes in stone. A total of 20 participants took the part in the workshop and 30 in the trainings. This was part of skill up gradation training program which is a regular activity of NRMCW at Narsinghgarh.
14. NRMCW was supported by NABARD to organize computer application and mobile repairs and electrical gadgets trainings at Narsinghgarh, Kurawar and Vidisha respectively. It was 8 weeks training in each sector and 30 participants were there in every trade. The theory and practical parts were covered by the expert trainers.
15. Project Axshya (meaning TB free), funded by The Global Fund to Fight HIV-AIDS, TB and Malaria, under Round-9, is an initiative which aims to improve access to quality TB care and control through a partnership between government and civil society. It supports RNTCP to expand its reach visibility & effectiveness, and to engage community based organizations and providers for improving TB services, especially for women, children, marginalized, vulnerable and TB-HIV co-infected populations. NRMCW supported by CBCI-CARD at Narsinghgarh district Rajgarh, is giving its services. Our representative collects the sputum and gives it in block hospital. If the TB is detected, he helps the patient to take DOT services.
16. NRMCW worked as an anchor NGO for Bhopal Municipal Corporation. We have done house hold survey on their behalf at Bajpai Nagar, Baba Nagar, Indira Nagar, Kalpana Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Ganga Nagar, Aaradhana Nagar, Madrasi Arjur and Rahul Nagar. This was under JNNRUM beneficiary survey organized by BMC Bhopal. The period of this survey was 5 months. A team of 50 persons was engaged to conduct this survey.
17. Under the aegis of OBC & Minority Department Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and Government of Madhya Pradesh, a job fair has been organized at Lal Pared Ground Bhopal. This was related with the information regarding the skill development and employment orientation scheme. A stall was erected by NRMCW and the information was disseminated and discussed with the aspirant visitors. Honorable Chief Ministry Shri Shiraj Singh Chouhan also visited on our stall. There was a huge response from the public to make this event a success. The period of the job fair was for 2 days i.e. January 31st and February 1st, 2013.
18. By getting the support from Bhopal Municipal Corporation, Bhopal, NRMCW was given the responsibility of conducting the survey under the scheme Rajiv Awas Yojna as pilot project under identified settlements for the preparation of Livelihood Action Plan. The survey was done at Arjuan Nagar, Jheel Nagar, Crasher basti, Crasher basti rental, Shanti Nagar and Ambedkar Nagar. The survey was done on honorary basis.
